    I can proudly say I’m rocking recovery! Yet I still struggle. Mainly with healthy eating..I’m trying to figure out if I’m getting into these recipes because I want to provide myself and my family natural unprocessed foods, or am I slipping into ED behaviors…I may just need to return to therapy again…sigh. I thought I was forever done with that.

      Great job, Beth! Sounds like you’ve come a long way in your recovery. I do think things crop up throughout our recovery where we need to check back in with our therapist, even just for a session or two. (Personally, I think saying we are forever done with therapy, is a little like saying you’ll never see your primary care physician again, or you’ll get your hair cut for the final time). More importantly checking in with ourselves to really examine our motivation for the changes we are making can be our biggest guide — journaling can be super useful. Keep up the powerful work!!     I am definitely an Early, and I know what you mean by not wanting to recover most of the time. Letting ED control me is a lot less scary. However, this whole thing really inspired me and I deep down do really hope that I can one day enter the Rockin It zone. Thank you for reminding me that I’m not alone.

    • Julia – I’m so glad this post was a source of inspiration for you. Staying in alignment will continue to serve you as you progress (listening to podcasts on recovery, social media that is pro-recovery, books, etc). Best of luck to you my fellow warrior! Angie
